My Weight Loss Story

After hitting my twenties the weight piled on and I spent every other Monday starting a new diet,  The Atkins, low carb, and even the Cabbage soup diet.  Obviously all of these eventually failed after a couple of days or weeks.  After losing my twenties to being overweight I decided my thirties would be different and they were for a while.  I created my own diet of healthy eating and exercise and after 18 months of deprivation and enough exercise to make a marine proud I finally lost 8 stone and went from a size 22 to a 10.  Then, over the following 18 months I decided to eat everything I had deprived myself of for the last 18 months and put it all back on!  Have you heard this story before?

Diets call for deprivation and that is why they fail because although we say no we really want to say yes.  With hypnosis there are no feeling of deprivation.  Since I hypnotized myself to desire only healthy foods, to eat slowly and to stop eating when full. I have lost nearly  2  stone.  With no effort, no calorie counting, no watching what I eat, eating what I want when I want but knowing when to stop.  When I look at crisps, chocolate, cakes or any unhealthy food now I simply have no desire for them.  No longer do I feel I have to finish everything on my plate ( and everyone else's ) no longer shoveling food in without it even touching the sides!  I am now eating slowly, enjoying every mouthful, enjoying the flavor of the foods.  No longer binge eating in the evening when bored, raiding the kitchen when everyone is in bed and eating everything in the kitchen.
