Anxiety/ Panic Attacks
There are two types of Anxiety: Situational and Existential.
Situational Anxiety : examples - exams, being called into the office to see the boss, going the dentist, planing a wedding.
'Situational anxiety is easily relieved with hypnotherapy, it's a response to stress. Since only you define what is stressful you can change your definition, and your response, with hypnosis. That's because you control your response to situations.
Existential Anxiety : examples - frightened wondering we feel about - when will I die, what happens after I am gone, why are we here. We deal with existential anxiety in two, almost opposite ways: by denial or by developing meaning.
Anxiety is nourished by negative thoughts and starved by positive thoughts.
Your imagination constantly sends messages to your internal organs. These chemical/electrical messages (hormones, for instance) influence your endocrine, nervous and immune systems. When the messages are calming you feel fine; when they are alarming, you feel anxious.
Hypnotherapy is your gateway to change those messages. It enables you to deal with the symptoms of anxiety, or to get to the root cause. That is, you can use hypnotherapy to better control your worrisome thoughts, stomach upset or clammy hands. Or, with hypnotherapy, you can uncover the root of your particular anxiety.
